Honeymoon for DD

My daughter married a soldier on July 4th. He is back from an Iraq deployment. It was a quick decision on their part to have a little ceremony. I had 4 days to put it together! Her Dad and I want to send them to HI for a honeymoon in mid August. We are not familiar with Waikiki - we spend our time on other islands. Looking for recommendations for a beach hotel. Also, does anyone have a week they want to unload for mid August? I know, it is last minute.

See if they can get into the Hale Koa. It is for military, retired, govt. workers, etc. Right on beach and nice. Check their website.

I second the suggestion about Hale Koa for military. Congrats to your daughter and your family. 4 days to put a wedding together...quite an achievement on your part!I second the suggestion abot Hale Koa.

I have a couple of ocean front Maui weeks 08/07/11 to 08/14/11
08/14/11 to 08/21/11 that I would be willing to all most give it away to a vet and his spouse . Would one of them work? Greg

I did not know that wedding basics could be arranged in 3days on a holiday week-end! Flowers, officiant, photographer and cake happened. My husband and I are going to write a book "Wedding Planning in Three Days".
