RCI and Hawaii Rentals

My favorite search is for Hawaii.

I did a search for Hawaii for exchanges only and got 35 Resorts and 841 units available from today to Feb. 2014.

I did a search for Hawaii for exchanges and Extra Vacations and Last Call and I got 42 Resorts and 2071 units available to Feb. 2014.

1230 more Rentals than Exchanges!!!!

Is this one of the reasons timeshares are selling for $1.00 on eBay?

What is your favorite search and what are the results for Exchanges vs Rentals.

I always search National Harbor in DC. I don't use RCI though so I haven't really had too much experience with it.
