Pono Kai refurbishment status?

Anyone know which Pono Kai units have been refurbished and which units should be refurbished by June 2007?

They left 2 of the oceanfront buildings for last.

The A and B buildings have not yet been refurbished. No work is being done on them at present and none is planned for the immediate future. Maybe next year, is the answer I was given when I last asked. Apparently they ran out of money. Ben

Thank you for the response. I made our first reservations (we are new owners) and was so excited about getting concurrent weeks in the same top floor ocean front unit until Jim asked me later if the building (Bldg B) was refurbished. Ooops! Well, they tell you that they cannot guarantee units, we will have to see if we can work something out.

Hi Cindy, I am a new owner also and have reserved two weeks already. I hadn't thought about the refurbishment either until I read your post! Double oops!! I have buildings A and B. I am not too worried however as a few reviews on tug indicate that the old units aren't really all that bad. And I think for me getting an oceanfront two bedroom with a loft was more important than the remodel. Ben
