    just a few questions?
How much is the breakfast and the parking per day?
We will be going Nov. 3 to Nov. 13 2006.
    We own in Kauai-Embassy.
This is our first visit to Maui Embassy.
    Any input will be helpful.
    Thank you
    Ron

This is from RCI, I don't know if there are any affiliated-owner discounts. I am a bit disappointed in the new breakfast rates, they were $85 per week per unit when I made the reservation. Anyway, looks like $12/day parking and time to buy cereal and milk for the room:

      Effective from 05/23/2005 to indefinitely
ALL UNITS HAVE ONLY A P/KITCHEN WITH MICROWAVE/MINI-FRIG AND COFFEE MAKER! THERE ARE NO OVENS IN THE UNITS. THERE ARE NO OCEAN VIEW UNITS. 1/1/2006 PARKING FEES WILL INCREASEFROM $10 TO $12 PER NIGHT FOR PARKING. SECURITY DEPOSIT OF $200 IN THE.

      Effective from 03/27/1998 to indefinitely
NOVEMBER 1/2005 THE BREAKFAST BUFFET WILL BE $12.00 DAILY CHARGE PER ADULT (13 YEARS AND OVER) $6.00 DAILY CHARGE PER CHILD (6 YEARS TO 12 YEARS) COMPLIMENTARY (5 YEARS AND YOUNGER) BREAKFAST BUFFET WILL INCLUDE A "MADE TO ORDER OMELET STATION". THIS BUFFET IS OPTIONAL!

The parking fee is mandatory but I would skip the breakfast. Buy cereal & fruit and eat in your room. Then enjoy a lunch & dinner somewhere. We won't stay at the Embassy again because of the lack of a kitchen.

We stayed here in October 2004 and loved it. We did the breakfast in the morning and really enjoyed it. But if you plan on going to excursions they may leave before breakfast.

We toured Sunterra Kaanapali, which is their new name, just a few days ago.

The refrigerator in the updated units is actually a good-sized one, with freezer on the top. I would say it is about a 12 CF. Kind of a cute kitchen. Most timeshares have a 16 CF, so not as bad as I pictured. There is a small island in the kitchen with granite countertop. I would make sandwiches in the unit to save a little cash.

The bathtubs do not have whirlpools and are regular sized, at least in the units we saw. The shower is separate from the tub, the toilet is in a separate closet. We saw two different ones, an oceanview and a scenic view. The decor was nice, the units are small. I wouldn't take anyone else in the one bedrooms. We didn't see the two bedrooms.
