  • Activities In Maui?

My fiancé & I will be spending our honeymoon on Maui in a couple weeks. We'll be staying primarily in the Kaanapali area & I was hoping to receive some suggestions for "must do" activities or sights. I've been once before so the Road to Hanna is a must.

Does anyone have any other suggestions for a newlywed couple in Maui?

Top of the Haleakala crater and take a snorkeling tour with the Pacific Whale foundation but there are other companies too.

Buy "Maui Revealed" as it will give you lots of good ideas. You can buy it here and also on in Maui. There are so many nice coves and beaches.

The Crater by bike and the road to Hana are your 2 top things. If you want to do a Luau book the Old Lahaina Luau now. It is more expensive but worth it. Also the sunset dinner cruises are nice.

Evidently the Old Lahaina Luau is booked up past our honeymoon at this point. Any other Luau recomendations?

Some of the timeshare salespeople have luau dates for Old Lahaina. We were surprised because we knew it was sold out. We tried to reserve online, but I guess timeshare companies grab some of those weeks in hopes of selling timeshare. The cost was $59 with the timeshare tour for the Old Lahaina at several places, including Expedia booths all over the island.

We were disappointed that Marriott was gone this time because I know my mother-in-law would have liked that one better than Royal Lahaina, which is the one we attended. The mai tais were good; I got a little tipsy and I am not a drinker. I drink alcohol like it is soda, mai tais taste like soda to me.

What is going to happen to the ocean views from the Marriott, if they are building something in front of the resort?
