  • Best Luau in Maui?

I'm looking to book a luau for my honeymoon on Maui a couple weeks & was hoping to recieve some recomendations.

The Old Lahaina Luau is booked up at this point & the Feast at Lele Luau seems a bit steep price wise.

What would be our next best choice?

Some people make reservations a year in advance to go to the Old Lahaina Luau. We enjoyed it because it was a perfect evening. We went to a hotel luau too at Wailea but didn't like it at all. By the time we got to the table, the main dish was gone and not much else was left either. The setting was very nice.

A few people here have recommended going to see Ulalena instead which is a magical show of Ancient Hawaii. I haven't seen it yet but have it on our list to do next time we are here. I would forget the Luau because it is mostly a buffet type of dinner.

You will get more suggestions, I am sure.

The Marriott Maui puts on a good show. They even climb a tree. I enjoyed walking around the resort as well. Is this te only island that you are going to?

Frank, the Marriott Maui Luau is gone because that's where they are building the new Lahaina tower.

Maui is the only island we'll be on. Does anyone feel that the Feast at Lele Luau is worth the $?

the Feast at Lele was fantastic!

We went to the Feast at Lele because the Old Lahaina Luau was booked up as well. It is expensive but was a very good show and wonderful food. It worked out well for us because of the more individual servings of food - my husband doesn't like seafood and I'm allergic - they have individual courses and you can request what you want.

They have individual tables and no one sits on the ground - we liked that idea also. It was my birthday and we had a romantic table for 2. I haven't been to the Old Lahaina Luau so I can't compare them.
