Airplane Tour on Kauai

After a few days in Waikiki I will be moving on to Kauai. One of my must do activities is an airplane tour. Not a Helicopter tour but a fixed wing airplane tour.

I would love to hear some recommendations regarding an airplane tour on Kauai.

I agree with Glitter doing an Ultralight over the Napali Coast is the best way to see it and it is a rush.

We did the helicopter tour (for four) as a premium for touring what was then Embassy @ Poipu.

Was that a double mistake?

Wow that looks so cool! I would love to do that. But I don't think DW would approve.

Dana is so skittish about flying, that's why I compromise on the fixed wing airplane option. I realize the airplanes cannot thread in and out of some of the canyons but I will make due.

I see a variety of airplane tours, I just need to decide which one?

We haven't done it yet be we are going to do Wings over Kauai.

We are going on a 70 minute airplane tour tomorrow. It is with a recommended company called AirVentures. We are very excited to see the west side of the island. Afterwards, we are going to the Smith Family Luau.

Billymach4, sorry for the delay in responding, as we have moved on to Las Vegas for our second week of vacation. We absolutely love the AirVentures plane ride. our pilot, Paul, was interesting and informative. The sights of Na Pali coastline and Weimea Canyon were breathtaking. We combined the plane ride with the Smith Family Luau for a cost of $199 each. We had a fantstic time!
