Leaving Friday morning

Wow, almost a year in the planning and we are leaving friday morning Bright and Early!!!

I will be checking in here (maybe even posting a pic or two if I can find the photo server), but looks like we will be BUSY. I've been obsessively looking at last minute lodging options, so now we will be staying at both Bay Club at Waikoloa and FFKHV on the Big Island, and Maui Banyan and the Embassy on Maui. Two overnights, one at VNP and one in Hana.

We haven't taken this long a trip (3 weeks) since our honeymoon to Bali, I find myself worrying about being gone so long (not like me, always looking for the next getaway...). Could have something to do with the renovation work starting as soon as we back and the things we haven't done to prepare? Coming back jetlagged just in time for back-to-school?

Well I've got quite a long 'to do' list to tackle before we leave... including packing (should be easy, we are limiting to one bag pp, carryon only).

I am excited and stressed out, all at once.

Stop stressing and enjoy (I know easier said then done). It's always easier to give that advice than to take it.
But do have a great trip. Sounds like it will be.

Wow, that's a nice trip Avery.

Try to take some pictures of the Kona Hawaiian Village. I want to go there some time next year. I want to know if it's worth it.

How many times do non-timeshares or even my immediate family roll eyes as I excitedly explain my plans for 18 months in the future and then you wake up and BANG time to go!

Have a wonderful vacation ( 3 weeks....we haven't done that since we went to Greece 15 years ago.) I envy you. PLEASE take plenty of pictures for us both of those gorgeous beaches and the various resorts.

You will be missed.

You never said you scheduled your renovations! Lucky you. It will allwork out smoothly upon your return from paradise.

Thanks to all. Lawren, I didn't exactly schedule the renovations, but I ordered everything for the kitchen (except the appliances, must do that Today), and lo and behold it is being delivered in a few weeks! I have had a hard time getting hold of my contractor, but finally spoke to him yesterday and it does indeed appear that despite his recent ankle injury, work will be starting as soon as we get back... I still haven't selected siding, but that will wait until the kitchen is at least under way.. so this is another thing that I've been planning forever and can't believe is really upon us... YIKES

What a fabulous trip you have planned......You and your family are going to have a wonderful, and extremely memorable vacation. Have tons of fun, and take lots of pictures.

As far as your renovation, you might as well just put it out of your head, and relax. There is nothing you can do at this point anyway.......Why stress unnecessarily? There will be plenty of time for that when you get back.....

We are all very jealous, and we will miss you.......

Have a GREAT trip! I love that you are going 3 weeks with only carry ons. I am going to tell my family it CAN be done! LOL. Can't wait to hear all about it. Hope everything turns out just as you have planned.
