AA fare sale to HI

Just got an email today from AA re sale fares to Hawaii from now through October. Too late for me to get any $ back since a 7 day advance purchase is required, but a sample fare from NYC to Kona was just a little over $500...
Heck, I'll just be happy to get there at this point.
