And if we can it looks like my daughter and I will do the power hang gliding.

Now to see if the activities we want to do will be available when we want.
Two nights in Hana would be ideal, much better than one! You'll have a great time, hang gliding or no (though the hang gliding is a real treat)

Glitter B, I have an idea that you will return one day again to the Islands. They seem to have that magic to attract so many people back over and over again.

Each Island is my favorite when I am there but the Big Island has the active volcano which is so different and the landscape is more like a moonscape to me at the park. My SIL found it eerie in the beginning but then she was in awe to see the volcano in action.

I think you got it right.

BTW I just asked my son if it was him and he said that the road to Hana is something that he wants to forget. Both my son and wife had a real bad case of car sickness. He said the only memory he will remember is puke.

The road to Hana was on the Travel Channel last night. What a view!

That happens to quite a few people. I recommend a convertible, and time for plenty of stops out of Maui Revealed...

BF all the roads wind into and out of Hana. One of the reasons we are staying two nights is so the driving is not all day as my wife and son get car sick too. So we are going to take our time. And we have the meds ready.

Looks like we are staying at the Hana Kai oceanfront. Few if any of the B&B's accept younger kids.

Reading your trip mirroring mine so much is giving me the warm and fuzzies. Emmy's right, I'll get back to the islands. Hana is at the top of my list of places I want to return to, and Hana Kai is great. I'm curious to see how your impression compares with mine. Can't wait to hear about your trip!
