              lawren,

I would take you, but the airport won’t let me take people in my suitcase anymore.

                Frank,
We are planning on visiting the Guava Plantation on Kauai; they have the best & freshest Guava juice I have ever tasted.
Thank you, for reminding me of that.

If you stop by Spouting Horn on Monday, there should be a vendor in the booths hawking Aunty Lilikoi passion fruit products. You can get free samples, and he sells it at factory pricing.

Be sure to try the Passion Fruit Wasabi mustard.

Yep thats the place. Be sure to buy the Guava/Pineapple Tropical Spread. We bought 24 jars to give a way as gifts. Everyone loved it. We had a dozen for ourselves. I just checked our pantry and I still have 3 jars left. Not sure if it is still as good as it was 2 years ago. Now that I went looking and found them, We will open up a jar soon.

Even better, you can go direct to Aunty Lilikoi and purchase direct from them. They are in Waimea across the street from The Shrimp Station. Plus, she will ship it on home for you for the cost of whatever the bulk rate is. I think maybe $8-$9.

And, I agree....their Passion Fruit Wasabi mustard is wonderful. Other great passion fruit products as well.

Have fun.............I can't wait for March, 2007, to get here so I can post that I am leaving for The Big Island and Kauai

Frank - I respectfully disagree. The Guava/Passion Fruit is distinctly better.

We make pancakes most every Sunday morning. So when we are in Kauai we buy passion fruit pancake syrup to bring back home with us.
I love Wasabi, Passion Fruit Wasabi mustard sounds really good. I must try some.

We LOVE the wasabi macadamia nuts! I'm taking an empty suitcase when we go to Hawaii in a couple of weeks to fill up with all these great foodie things!

Faust, have a great trip! We'll probably pass you in the air somewhere over the Pacific.

You are all making me hungry (made worse by the fact that I am trying to eat rabbit food to make up for all the overeating we did in HI), AND you are making me miss HI already!!!
