All the great sightings here lately for the most sought after Hawaiian timeshare resorts and the lowering of airfares recently to the Hawaiian islands too is telling me something and that is that consumers have had enough of the very high prices of flying or is it that the economy is really starting to slow down?

I wonder if timeshare sales are slowing down too? Do you ever get an honest answer from a timeshare salesman?

I think the cheap interisland fares have more to do with the new airline Go trying to break into the market. Looks like Go may not make a go of it, story here. So take advantage of grabbing those low airfares while you can.

I don't know anything about the tourism rates to Hawaii but it seems that overall it's been way up. That story here. But another report I read said that hotel conversions into timeshare condos is taking a number of hotel rooms out of the system so the remaining hotels are raising their rates. More places for us exchangers in the long run.

I'm looking forward to seeing the progress in Waikiki on the new Beach Walk area (where the new Fairfield will be opening soon). I'll take photos when I'm there in a couple of weeks.
