Anyone heard anything from anyone that was at any of the Big Island resorts when the quake hit? Any news about damages etc.?
There was a thread on TUG where someone said that Shell Vacation Club had posted on their site that Holua Resort at Mauna Loa Village, Kona Coast Resort and Paniolo Greens, sustained minimal earthquake damage. They said that the sun was shinning and resort running.
Wish some other companies like Fairfield would take their lead and post something about their properties!!!
From the reports I can piecre together it sounds like in most parts of the island while there is some physical damage, it could be worse and luckly not much in the way of personal injury.
