  • January Hawaii cruises from $1149 inc. R/T air from JFK!!!

Not my thing, but I have seen a few mentions of these ships here, and the price seems unbelievable considering our air for July is at best running $800

NEW YORK--OCTOBER 23, 2006-- For sailings in January,
Cruises-N-More has just reduced the 7-night Hawaii cruises
-- with air from New York -- to $1149 per person. This is
    $400 off the regular price.

You must book by October 27.

For $1149 per person, you get:
    - R/T airfare from New York City (JFK/Newark) to Honolulu
    - 7-night, 4-island Hawaiian cruise on NCL America's
Pride of America or Pride of Hawaii
    - Your choice of 7 departure dates in January
    - Ground transfers in Honolulu
    - Up to $150 onboard credit (Pride of America only)

Discounted rates are available on oceanview and balcony
    cabins.

Both ships were introduced in the last two years -- Pride of
America in 2005 and Pride of Hawaii in 2006. They both have
a full-service spa, fitness center, and NCL's signature
    "Freestyle Cruising" concept.

For full details -- including reduced fall sailings -- and
to book directly through Cruises-N-More, click the link
below or call them at 1-800-733-2048.

Great price and a great way to visit four of the islands. If you look at it as easy transportation then for the price it is a great deal. However, having unfortunately gone on the "Pride" of Aloha its first summer (2004), I can honestly say it is more like the Shame of Aloha. I have heard from others that many of the same problems still exist.

We paid a lot more 2 years ago. It was our first trip to Hawaii and we loved Hawaii despite the cruise. This cruise is no where near the level of service of any other cruise I have been on. A few examples: generally on cruises (as in hotels) sheets are changed every day and beds are made. Like in a timeshare stay, I don't really care if they change my sheets every day. However, I expect clean sheets on arrival; I do not expect to have to call a few times to get them (btw- the cabin was "cleaned" and "ready"). I also like the concept of freestyle dining- at least how it is advertised. I do not like having to wait 2 hours (no exaggeration) for dinner every night, without being allowed just to call beforehand and make a reservation. Also, when I sit down with my family, I expect all our meals to come at the same time- not 10-15 minutes apart. I could go on and on and, unfortunately, several people I spoke to last year had similar experiences as during the previous year.

There is a reason they are discounting them so much...but, again, for the right price, it is a great way to see 4 islands.
