Thank you Boca, it helps so much to have pictures of the resort and the view they have too. Are there many oceanfront or ocean view condos or only a very few?

When we went on the Shell presentation in Kauai several years ago they claimed that the Beachboy was the only purpose built timeshare that had a heated pool in all of Kauai. We were staying at the Embassy Poipu Point and their pool was so cold in late November my kids could only last a few minutes in it.

I preferred the exteriors of the Point and Poipu.

I never really saw the Beachboy...only dropped in on an emergency stop in the lobby. I think I went to the SVC presentation at the Kona Coast Resort on that trip. I heard about the heated pool issue from one of their barkers/ booths and then got it confirmed in Kona. I am still not sure if its true that there are not others.

We did stay at the Embassy and the units were a bit worn at that time but nice and spacious. We enjoyed it but I feel it was over rated. Nice for an exchange but to pay that kind of money and maintenance fees?

Thanks for those beautiful pictures. They make me even more anxious for our March trip to Oahu. We're used to going to Kauai about every year, but we'll check out the new Fairfield at the BeachWalk...or thereabouts. Jean

I stayed at the Beachboy in November and loved it. Furnishings and units were beautifully decorated, restaurant was superb, and I liked the location.The beach could have been larger, but you cant have everything!
