  • Kauai and The Point at Poipu Pictures

    http://s37.photobucket.com/albums/e8...%20at%20Poipu/

We checked in today at The Point at Poipu. We came to the island yesterday and stayed at the Kiahuna Plantation for one day. This Resort is next to the Marriott's Waiohai Beach Club.

I will be posting additional pictures of Kauai for the next week. In the first group of pictures you will see pictures of Marriott's Waiohai Beach Club, Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa, and the Point at Poipu. We are staying in unit 9303 and there is a picture of the view from 9303. This is a very first class unit.

I think that the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa is one of the best Hotel Resorts in Hawaii.

I know it's left to me to ask because I can't help myself.

Does anyone ever catch the feral chickens and eat them?

            Hi Walt,
We ended up at Lawai Beach Resort instead of Poipu Point (long story). I will give you a call tomorrow and perhaps we can still get together for that drink!

We'll be going there first week of November 2007. We'll be staying at Marriott's Waihoi Beach Club.

I asked the local people and several told me that they are too tough. Good for the chickens.

Walt, thanks for all the pictures. I looked at them all as you took some nice trips in Europe too.

Going to the North Shore Today

The weather has been mostly sunny so far and it should continue for the rest of the week.

We went to the Kauai Coffee Company location yesterday. Getting samples of their coffee was a good way to start the day. The coffee is very good. We then went to the Waimea Canyon and the Kalalau Lookout.

                      Pictures are posted.

                          Packers Fans Are Everywhere!

We went to the Koloa Drug Store yesterday. We saw this Packers wall at the Drug Store.
