kauai beach villas???

has anyone stayed at the pahio kauai beach villas?? any feedback??

We stayed there a couple of years ago, in a 2 BR unit and really enjoyed the location, the suite, and the staff. We asked for a top floor and got our request. There is no elevator, so 3 flights of stairs were part of the deal...not a problem for us. Our unit had a wonderful lanai, and the location is convenient to Kapaa and Lihue.

Stayed there in 2004

We stayed in a 2BR unit in 2004. We found the units and the area to be very attractive in most regards, including landscaping and interior decor. I think there was room A/C only but it was sufficient. Our son enjoyed the chickens roaming the grounds. The tennis courts were very nice. The beach is NOT safe for swimming, but it is a short drive from public beaches and the pools were very nice. The only downside is that the resort is next to a place where people seem to enjoy getting up early to ride dirt bikes and other noisy vehicles.
