  • Maui Ocean Club - Thanks Angela!

I got here early today, so they moved me from the 5th floor of the Molokai Tower to the 8th floor of the Lanai tower. I was concerned at first that they may give me the new construction view, but they didn't.

Here is the view from my unit. You can see whales from the Balcony.

    OMG, this is gorgeous!

Boca, when you get a chance, give me your 2 cents on my "Dream Trip" thread - seeing that you are the King Of Hawaii and all

      Breaching whales everywhere

I woke up early this morning and sat on the balcony at the crack of dawn. I watched several whales breaching across the open water. One breached at least 10 times straight. The view from this unit is spectacular. I love it here. Now I know why this place is so desirable. It's a constant reminder of why Maui is my favorite island.

My very first timeshare purchase was almost 3 years ago in Maui at the then EVR Ka'anapali. I fell in love with the view I had at the Royal Kahana 10th floor penthouse unit I rented. That unit was almost $500 per night and worth every penny.

Last night, I had the King Crab dinner buffet. I must have ate 2 pounds of crab. Mmm, mmm good.

      I love this place.

Wow.....This place really looks, and sounds fabulous. It seems like you got real lucky with the room, too. What a great view!!!! Sitting on your balcony, and watching the whales breaching, is just so cool. Enjoy!!!!!

        Looking forward to your pics.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

I am SO jealous. My family always teases me- we went on an Alaskan cruise and managed to pick the one week when there were no whales. We've gone to Hawaii twice, but both times over the summer (no whales, but we did get to see great dolphins). They're tired of hearing me wanting to see the whales....

Yeah what a great view....and the whales too. Real nice....real nice.

I love it when we help each other like this. TS4M's rocks baby.

How can you not love this view? It's fabulous and we will be there next March. I can hardly wait!

Yes, this forum is the best and Angela is so special for finding these and posting them and of course the others too that post all these sightings also.

Boca you were smart to buy that Bronze week from the Marriott so cheaply as you got your monies worth already and some. I wished we could buy one too like that but it is a firm "no" by my SO. It would only be for doing these last minute exchanges too. That is one nice thing to look forward to when you are retired!
