Marriott Kauai Beach Club, hotel vs. timeshare

Can anyone compare the studios at the t/s to the hotel rooms? We've got a points stay at the hotel, trying to weigh whether switching to a studio at the t/s next door would make sense if it opens up.

Of course a larger unit would be a no brainer

Not going to move to Waiohai, our friends will be at the hotel...

Hi, Boca. We're not going until July. Already booked Hanalei Bay for six nights (primarily your fault, though Emmy and Steve also share some blame ), but we are staying at the Marriott hotel in Lihue for 3 nights first. I was just trying to figure out if a flexchange to the t/s next door would make sense, but don't go out of your way. Have a great time at Waiohai!

Avery.....If you can grab a timeshare, I'd go for it, if I were you. You're getting killed with a three night stay, using points.
