We have more than 3 days in the North (staying at Hanalei Bay), so I won't ask for just the top 3. "Must dos," please.... (other than Napili Coast, covered in another thread)...

Originally posted by GlitterThanks, both the beach and gardens look great. Can a novice/beginner/fraidyhorse do the Bluff ride?
Seriously though, my daughter and I did it and she had never ridden by herself and I honestly can't remember when I last rode a horse. They were very good with us. It was a very small group. Only us and a couple on their honeymoon...who incidentally ended up on our HoloHolo cruise. Small island.

We'll be in Kauai for nine days this summer at Bali Hai Villas, so I'm looking forward to the suggestions offered here. We have the Kauai Revealed book to read in the meantime.Dave

Since your not going to do a helicopter tour. I would think strongly about kayaking down the Wailua River its Hawaii's only navigable river. Pick a tour that will take you to the Secret Falls a.k.a. Uluwehi Waterfalls, were you can go swimming, after swimming you kayak back. It’s an easy river to kayak; there is usually little or no current.

The sea food Buffet is what you want. Spend a day there at the beach. There are public stairs you can walk down just before the resort or go right into the resort. If you remember bring me back a current price list. I might be thinking of booking a few nights there for my 25th if Hawaii is the place to go to.Timeshareforums Shirts and Mugs on sale now! http://www.cafepress.com/ts4ms
