Kauai Viator Tour

Has anyone ever been on/heard of this tour? If so, how is it?? I was thinking about booking it, it seems to hit on a lot of the main sightseeing points in Kauai.....

Hi Amanda

Kauai is a small island. There is really nothing that you can not see by car from the above list. The Fern Grotto was or may be still closed. If you want to take a tour I would take a tour like the movie tour. This tour, as I understand it, gets you to places only available to them.

Part of the beauty of Kauai

is the "pace of life".

When we go to the Waimea area, we like to stop at the Kauai Cookie Company, glass beach, Lapert's for Ice Cream, Salt Pond Beach, The Kauai Coffee Plantation, etc.

Also in that area are the art galleries in Hanapepe, the swinging bridge, the the spot where Captain Cook first landed in Hawaii, the Lilikoi pie place....


For less than $50, you can rent a full size van and see all these and maybe more, for up to 6 people.

Add another $50 for a nice lunch at Hanamura's Samin in Lihue, or an early dinner at Brick Oven Pizza, and make it into a very ,very nice day trip, all for less than the $79. each for a bus trip.
