Info on Alii Kai?

SFX finally came through and so I have a week in October at Alii Kai resort. It looks nice from what I can find online about it, but has anyone been there? What did you like about it? Any fun things to do in the area?

We were there last summer. It's a very nice resort. Not super fancy, but large, decent units. The pool is pretty small, though. (Although, who wants to just hang at a pool in Kauai...) We would hop in the pool in the evenings, after being at the beach all day. The best thing about the place is the location. It's close to many great snorkeling beaches. Get a copy of the kauai book - I can't remember the name, but someone will likely chime in - I think it's Kauai Revealed. It lists all the great spots to visit. You are about 10 or 15 minutes from the entrance to Napili coast hike, which also has a great snorkeling each right there.

There is a fresh fish store in Hanalei bay that you have to go to. Amazing fish there. I think we had dinner at least 3 nights from the place. They also have sushi rolls and fresh poke (Hawaiian raw fish dish) which is fantastic.
