New Fairfield Timeshares set to open in December '06

The new Fairfield Hawaii at Waikiki Beach Walk is scheduled for opening in December '06. It is my understanding that they have already started selling. They will be part of the new Outrigger Waikiki Beach Walk. The Fairfield TS's are where the former OHANA Reef Towers was. There will be 195 TS units including 95 1BR, 83 2BR and 17 2,3or4BR Presidential suites.
The Outrigger project will also include Hotel accomodations, residential living, 4 restaurants and 40 or so shops.

How far is it from the beach??? Is it a good area??

Where the Ohana was is a block from the beach. It's a nice area right near the Outrigger Reef.

New Fairfield in Hawaii

Hi All,
I just looked and starting the first weekend in December of 2006 you can now reserve either a 1 or 2 bedroom unit although only on the lower floors. Just as a side note according to the points chart on the Fairfield site the 4 bedroom presidential unit for week 52 would cost you 1,000,000 points for 1 week.

I just drove by the area last week and there is a lot of construction. The building is really close to the beach access lane. I'm sure once the renovations are all complete it will be a great place with lots of new shops, restaurants, etc.
