Hawaii Travel Book

Is there a good travel book that covers all the Hawaii Islands? I know books like Ultimate Kauai Guidebook: Kauai Revealed, are great, but was looking for one book that covered all the islands.

The best books are the Revealed series

There may be a single book, but it would have to be a foot thick,
as each of the 4 major books are a couple of hundred pages.

The Big Island Revealed, The Ultimate Kauai, Maui Revealed, and Oahu Revealed,
are all available from Buy Our Books

Or Amazon etc.

They are well worth the price, we went to Kauai 2 times before they came out, and after buying it, we have found more great beaches, sites, restaurants, etc.

Hawaii Travel Book

We have been traveling to our timeshare on Kauai yearly for almost 25 years--in fact, just got back from 3 weeks on island. I hosted the AOL Hawaii Boards (and Aloha Chat) for many years so have read a lot of comments about the " Hawaii Revealed Books". I agree that they are some of the best, however, do be careful as some information is not safe and some is suggesting activities that are illegal. For instance, one hike (to Kipu Falls if I remember correctly) takes you across private land. For some strange reason <g> the owner of that land is not really thrilled with a book telling people to illegally cross his land. Not everyone who follows the directions is thoughtful--many people leave garbage on his property, ruin his fencing, etc. Another example is information about the waterfalls and hiking around them. Be very careful, m'friends--waterfalls can be fatal if you take the wrong path. Another suggestion they give is a trip to Queens Bath on the north shore. While it is a fun and truly lovely place, it has proven fatal to several people who have been swept out to sea and drowned. I DON'T RECOMMEND GOING THERE AT ALL, but, if you do, please check on the tides and weather and never go there during the winter months! If you buy the book, please check with locals before hiking or going to some of the beaches. We all want you to come back healthy and happy!
