I just did a brief check, look like the Airline is about $64 plus some tax and airport charge from Lihue to Honolulu for July 2009 time frame. Is this close to the cheapest I can expected?
Do they have any chance to get sale? If so, what time frame should I start watching for those sale? And what could be the lowest rate?
I got my airline ticket through FF for my family. I guess I will start watch them for my in-laws from 5 month period, and hopefully, there is a reasonable one show up.
United allows me to go to Lihue than back from Honolulu and stop at SF, so I arrange 3 stays each various from 3 night to 6 nights using RHC points Wyndham points (have to waste one night at Lihue , since Wyndham internally can not find 6 night stay from July 21, but one of my relatives maybe want to arraive at resort in Sunday, one day before I arraived).
I now try to find transportations between island and rent car.
