Where is everyone staying in Maui? Does anyone know about Valley Isle with Vacation Internationale ? We are thinking of staying there in Jan/Feb 2009.
We stayed there and used this web site and rented direct from the owner. It is on the water. The beach had very soft sand. The place is nice. But less than some of the other top Maui Timeshare resorts. The Kahana Falls is across the road.

WorldMark owns 2 studio, 6 1-bdrm, and 6 2-bdrm units, 14 total units in this same building. That is where we are staying. We stayed next door at the Outrigger Royal Kahana a couple of years ago.

Thanks. Do we definitely need a rental car to get around? We usually have a car but we will probably be there about 10 weeks. We will pass through in October on a cruise from SFO-SYD. We could get some bicyles to take on the cruise and leave in Maui to use when we come back to Maui after being in the South Pacific. Is the land flat enough for bikes. Then we are scheduled to pick up another cruise that comes through Maui in February so we can take the bikes with us.
Or maybe a moped is a better idea. It would have to be small to get on the ship.

Thanks again for any advice.
If you want to see all of Maui you would need a car or be a very, very fast biker. Some or maui is flat, some is not.
