Thanks everyone for your support and comments. My kids have received much positive support and encouragement and we are very proud of them. It is a good life lesson for them.

The kids made get well cards for Frank and we dropped them off where they are staying. We will let you know if we hear about Frank's status.

Great story about caring people on both sides - extremely nice of the woman to send a followup to you especially under the circumstances.
Your kids will feel good about this their entire lives, as well they should.

What a great story, and what great kids, as well. You've taught them well.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

                Hi,

It was nice talking to you yesterday. Thanks, for the information about the beaches of Maui.

Thanks for sharing the story with us. You really taught your kids well. I also really think it is neat that they MADE their own get well cards for Frank.

                  Red,

Excellent! Way to make a difference in someone's life. I can see that your children learned to care for others from their parents!

Great story and thanks for sharing.

This is a great story! Your kids' thoughtfulness and awareness of others in public are exactly the kind of traits I try and want to develop in my kids. How lucky for that couple that your kids were nearby.
