This is quite unique but you can only hear it when the whales are in Maui. This is from Kihei. We heard about it when we took our whale watching tour this morning with the Pacific Whale Foundation. We saw whales but the ocean was very rough. Yesterday was the first day that we didn't see a whale from our balcony. We have seen so many this year but they are leaving slowly. February and March are definitely the best months for whale watching.

Yes, I remember Kay but we could hear them without a hydrophone as they were so close. That was a great trip and Shaggy was there too. If you listen now, you can hear how active the whales are right now here in Maui. They seem to sing more at night. This is what the guide told us too on the boat today.
