Just returned from a week at Wyndham Vacation Resorts at National Harbor.
Will put in resort review when resort is added to database, I put task request in for adding.
The resort is brand new, just opened in February this year. The units are very nice and comfortable with nice furnishings. Flat screen TV's in LR and BR's. (dvd in LR).
We were in a 2BR deluxe. King bed and whirlpool tub in master and 2 doubles in 2nd BR.
There are both indoor and outdoor pools, the outdoor pool was not open yet.
There is no free parking but parking is available in garage next door for $11 per day.
I was a bit concerned about getting to and from DC without having to drive because I had read that National Harbor is not on metro line. As it turn out it worked out fine as there is a metro bus that runs specifically from National harbor to the metro station at Branch which is the end of the green line (10 stops to DC) about a 20 minute ride. the bus takes about 15 min so with waiting and all usually about a 40 minute commute to and from DC. We never took car in to DC but used it to go to other places including over to Old Town Alexandria for dinner.
The National Harbor complex has a few restaurants and shops and other hotel complexes including the Gaylord which is worth walking thru just to see the atrium.
In all was very good stay and we found it convenient for seeing DC and surrounding area.
I have some pics of unit which I will post when I do review.
Since it is so new and not a lot of folks have been there yet let me know if I can answer any questions.
