        gardens

I love Longwood Gardens and Winterthur. I know that Longwood is in Pennsylvania, but it is extremely close to Delaware. The Nemours mansion and gardens are also stunning.

There is a museum that focuses on American enterprise which is in the former DuPont gunworks and is in a lovely setting along the Brandywine river. I had to look up the name it is the Hagley Museum.

I also enjoy the oldest continuously running theatre in the United States, Delawarer Theatre Company. The Grand Opera House.

Tons of things packed into a very small state.

Rehoboth Beach for the more urban, chic and gay friendly crowd with tons of outlets.
          Lewes for the historic charm.
Many other beaches to name and visit.
Many weekend events throughout the entire year.
Ocean City, MD is only 30 minutes south.
