The Dedication of the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial on the National Mall
in Washington, DC will take place at 11 a.m. on Sunday, August 28, 2011.

The Memorial’s address will be 1964 Independence Ave SW, Washington,
DC 20024. The street number is a reference to the Civil Right’s Act of 1964.

Several years ago I saw drawings of the memorial. It looks like it will be a powerful monument and fitting memorial for Dr. King.
