I was there back then and we were there 2 years ago. If you were there in the 70's you will be shocked to see the transformation. When we were there they had slots and large poker or black jack video machines. Those machines were cool and creepy since the dealers eyes followed you. We watched some guy hit about $160,000 on the Video poker. It's a hotel and casino. DH and I went over labor day. We went there for our honeymoon (no casino then) and in Sept for our 50th anniversary. Five days of rain.

Beautiful Mount Airy Lodge had heart-shaped tubs, didn't they? I seem to remember seeing them auctioned off when they closed the old hotel.Comment
