Help - Virginia Beach stay wanted in June

    Help - Virginia Beach stay wanted in June

    Hello

    I am looking for a 2 bedroom unit in Virginia Beach for June 23-30 or 24-31st.
    I have an Interval membership, but no getaways are available right now for then and we cant wait, otherwise we risk not having a place at all to stay(that's nice )

    We are in the middle of purchasing an RCI traded timeshare, however it wont be closed for a few more weeks.

    Wondering if someone could help me with this dilemma.
    1. Do you have anything you could sell me?
    2. Do you have an RCI membership that you could look if there is anything available there for me in a getaway format(just so I know, or I could purchase from you if it is like Interval)

    Really just looking for some either assistance with finding a spot or at least giving me a look into RCI's availability since I can't register yet

    Just checked RCI and they have nothing for you dates either as exchanges or Extra Vacations.

      Virginia Beach has decent availability in RCI even in summer if you start searching about a year in advance but not in two bedrooms. Some resorts only have one bedroom the others seem to be 3/4 one bedroom and 1/4 two bedroom and/or lock offs. II has the gold key resorts which are nice but most are lock offs and the resort doesn't seem to bulk bank summer and I've only seen a few summer studio deposits.

      I've had to reserve 2 one bedrooms- which can add up especially when you are paying $189X2 plus 70ish tpus for the two exchanges.

        Hmmm, I wonder if you would be better off renting? Not sure what if anything is available, but might be worth looking into.

          Thanks for the help everyone.

          Unfortunately it looks like I will have to rent some other way
          Hotels are NOT an option as I have 3 kids.

          Its crazy how spoiled you get after having a timeshare and all of the benefits that go along with it. Unfortunately we are normally more flexible in our scheduling where this time we are pretty locked in our times and places.

            You may want to consider Williamsburg as an alternate. There is generally good availability and it is possible to do a daytrip to Virgina Beach from there. Plus WBurg has those wonderful Busch Gardens parks which the kids would really love.

              We have a dance competition in Virginia Beach that week, so staying a distance away would be very inconvenient. Thanks for the thought though!
