Need help finding a hotel outside Philly

My daughter graduates from Philadelphia University on Henry Ave. 8/10. Normally we would visit her driving from Long Island, however we will be going to Philly from South Carolina. I am trying to figure out where we can stay for the night before the graduation. I do not want to be in Center City. I want convenience to her school. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I did Priceline a few years back. We got 4 rooms for our friends at a 4 star right in center of town for about $95 a night. If you want a 3 star I would guess that would be around $ 70

It depends on how far away you think is convenient. There are plenty of hotels is the Norristown area to the west. The airport is at the southernmost part of the city and there are lots of hotels there. On the other side of the Betsy Ross Bridge there are hotels in Cherry Hill, Marlton and Mt. Laurel.
