Stay safe all my Northeastern friends.
There is a last minute HGVC unit on South Beach Lawren posted this morning in case anyone wants to escape.

Still not much happening. 5PM is the magic time. Apparently, a switch flips and a monster storm materializes.

It's already fairly horrible here. Pelting icy rain, gusting wind wind, heavy wet snow. Streets a mess.

Schools all had early dismissal, but our theater tickets are still A-OK--the theater hasn't canceled.

We made it out east in crappy rain, it turned to snow just as we finished unloading our bags around 3. It's beautiful looking out the windows now, but the high winds will make it unpleasant to go out and play.

Been snowing here since 7AM. About 4 inches and the plows have already been past once. It was supposed to stop and restart tonight. Yeah right.

Gas stations and supermarkets were wild last night but I got that last container of half and half.

Only a couple of inches so far and not much in the way of wind aside from a gust that blew through a half hour ago.

Well, the wind is setting-up here. Northeast blow. I can still see blades of grass through the snow. That may last another hour. It is coming. Slowly, but it is coming. We are hoping for not much more than a foot.

The irony is that we are due in Stowe tomorrow afternoon. For X-country and snowshoeing. BUAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Lol....I'm about to give my supermarket another try. I figure that the worst of the crowds are over, and hopefully they received some deliveries during the day. If not, I'll pick through whatever is left......I was informed by my dh that man doesn't live on cheese alone.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

It just started coming down really heavy now. There are about 2 inches on the ground and the wind is blowing hard. DH is out on the road -he says they are terrible. He is a courier but he is aborting the route and heading home.

Barry Manilow puts on a great show with high energy. We saw him in Las Vegas when he was at the Paris. I would be interested in knowing how long his NYC show is. We have seen some of the shows in New York City that they also have in Las Vegas. The NYC shows were always longer as Las Vegas has a time limit.

                                Have a great time.
