We are calling it winter storm Charlotte here and we are expecting 1 to 2 feet or more of snow in CT. The worst conditions may be in eastern CT, RI and eastern MA. Not sure how bad it will be on the Maine coast.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

I think I just heard that NY/LI is now under blizzard conditions, with 12"-18" of snow possible.

Poor Boston can get 2-3 ft!

I love a good snowstorm, but this one may prevent our annual winter getaway with friends out east. It snows every year while we're out there, but has never interfered with the drive before. I miss my big pig SUV.

We're supposed to go see a comedy show tomorrow night. For once, I bought tickets for the whole family...five tickets, about $200. I called the theater and they said that they do not anticipate canceling as of now.

I'm just afraid that everything will look fine at 8:00, DH will insist on going, and then we'll come out to a winter wonderland at 10:00.

Lucky they said this morning on the radio to get your snow blower ready. I had it working like a charm back in NOV. Today it tells me Hey there is snow coming so I am not starting. So after playing with it and giving it some love it puttered for 3 Seconds and it went back to sleep. 2 hours talking to it and playing games with the carburetor. I got it working again. Now will it want to work when I need it to work. I have no idea but I am praying that it works or it will be getting it's last rites,

Now that's how to enjoy a snowstorm in the tri-state area, good for you! And you'll be able to eat at the restaurants of your choice. I know you don't need a seat upgrade for the show, but if you did this would be the perfect opportunity. I'm sorry we're supposed to leave town, it would be a good opportunity to grab some good theatre seats.

Good for you! Enjoy! While you in the city, take advantage of all the empty restaurants & theaters.

There are crazy gas lines by house this morning, (so, no gas for me) and the supermarket is sold out of meats/poultry/batteries.....So, I left the store with a variety of cheese, cured Italian meats, fruit & crackers, tuna & peanut butter & jelly. Lol.

The trees and bushes here already have their spring flowers. It's only going to be 65 today but I'll take it. I am so glad I moved south!
