What is your favorite timeshare in Ocean City.....

  • #2
    The Waves

Oceanside. Indoor pool. Three-bedroom units are HUGE. Very clean. Owners have the ability to "switch weeks" - do an internal trade with other timeshares in Ocean City managed by the same company. It's the best of having a fixed and floating week. HOWEVER, special assessments have been horrendous!

I have never stayed in the Saint Tropez or Sandy Square (both oceanfront), so they may be better.

Can I get you to verify "which" oceanside?

      Is this a Maryland resort?

      http://www.timeshareforums.com/forum...nited%20States

If we don't have it in the database, please let us know so we can add it!

We have been looking for a 3-BR or larger unit that is somewhat close to home (We are in PA)...

      Thanks!

        Ocean City Maryland

        The Waves

        TS4MS Number: 365
        RCI Number: 1426

Entertainment and activity surround you at The Waves, located a block from the beach in Ocean City. The resort, conveniently located on the north end of town, offers an enclosed pool and sunbathing area. Among the many water activities available, the area is especially well-suited for deep-sea fishing. You can enjoy tennis, miniature golf, and biking nearby or play golf on the course 10 miles away. For family fun, the Boardwalk is the area's biggest attraction. Located on the south end of town, the Boardwalk is lined with souvenir shops, arcades, restaurants, and amusement rides.

Located on the Ocean Side of Coastal Hwy at 136th St next to Ocean Time

I believe it is Oceantime which she might be refering to. I just stayed there and I believe Marty owns there as well. It is around 130th street but I do not think they have 3 bedroom units there and owners can bring pets.
Another place would be Sea time located next door and a sister resort with the 3 bedroom units.

I would not rule out a Summer place. There 3 bedroom units are 3 floors and are huge.http://www.timeshareforums.com/forum...php?resort=354

I absolutely LOVED our stay at Sea Time last August. See my Timeshare Review here at Ts4Ms.

Would like to stay at Coconut Mallorie some day.

Has anyone had recent experience at Club Ocean Villas II? Reviews are hard to find - older ones aren't great, but after a resort refurbishment (2002?) reviews improved on the whole. I'd love to know what you would rate the resort on a scale of 1 to 10 (abysmal dump to full featured luxury)... Thanks, Noelle

I have not stayed there, but friends go every year. HER grandparents own and let her use it. She is now married with children. They LOVE it!

                        Thank You Kathy,

Happy Belated Birthday with many more good times to follow. I hope you had a lovely celebration on your birthday. Thank you for your input on the Club Ocean Villas - I appreciate your information. I have heard good things about the resort, its just that the reviews are a little old and so I'm doing a little more research.

I sound organized, but am not really - I just bought week 32 and week 33 2-bedroom units and may at times want to rent them so I felt it was not too late to get additional input from the members 'in the know'.

Best Wishes to you Kathy and to your family, we are still enjoying the Williamsburg week 26 you sold to me as my first timeshare.... Noelle

Would you exchange into Ocean City, MD in October and would there be many seafood restaurants open this late in the year?

Yes I would go simply because of the club Secerts. OCT is still a good time to go. Keep in mind that, You can not be sure that the weather will be bad or good. If itis the early part I would chance it.
