We were on our way home from Las Vegas, with a stop over in Santa Fe and were going through Albuquerque when the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta was in full swing. We got to see gorgeous balloons in the air, going up, sitting on the ground...awesome designs. On our way up to Santa Fe the cars were parked along the Interstate and in the median...that's a lot of cars!
When we lived in Middletown, OH, the town hosted the National Hot Air Balloon Championships for 3 years. That was great fun watching all the activity, the balloons gliding over our houses and watching and helping them land or take off.
And take a hot air balloon ride! That is an awesome trip!!!Comment

I'm sorry , I meant the one at Shawnee. I'd love to do Albequerqe (sp) but I know finding a ts in Santa Fe at that time would be near to impossible. ShaggyComment
