Woodstone at Massanutten - Units 344 F&P Redstone Drive
From the moment we opened the door into the interior foyer of
our four bedroom (2 two bedroom lockouts) we were impressed!
Huge Living room with Hunter Green wall to wall carpet & fireplace
Dining room with a wood table, six chairs and an adjoining kitchen.
F side features a Full kitchen & P side Partial kitchen (no stove)
both have more then enough kitchen appliances to make dinner.
The four bedrooms are basically the same - Just reverse floor plans.
Each King size Master Bedroom features a TV, (computer) desk & chair.
Each Guest bedroom features a 20" TV and 2 Serta brand twin beds.
Master Bath Rooms - jetted whirlpool hot tubs for two
mirrored walls, stand up glass enclosed shower, sink & toilet.
The two side by side units give you the feeling of being in a Penthouse..
We owned at Eagle Trace - Killy Court for 10 years and just loved it. We gave that unit to my sister and moved on to Marriott. We will, however, be going back for a week next summer. How is the new water park? We have not been there since it opened.
If you have never done the crafts there, Massanutten is second to none. They bring in local artisans that teach jewelry making, basket weaving, etc. The projects are informing and the results are quality. Their program is unique and very well done.

My family (3 adults, one teenager) are planning to take a trip to Massanutten. There seem to be several different locations (room types?) to stay on the resort. According to their website, The Summit is the gold crown location, but to those who have stayed there, which really is the best place to stay?
Hi! The nicer, newer units are the Woodstone units. These are outside of "the bowl" (the mountains sort of circle the property...most of the condos are in "the bowl" area). Inside the bowl is a lake for fishing (I believe they rent tackle, etc.), a nice indoor pool/recreation area, putt putt and all of the skiing/snow tubing. HOWEVER, the Woodstone properties are closer to the water park, the stables, the spa, most of the crafts classes and have a nice pool & playground nearby.
Inside the Bowl, the Summit properties are some of the nicer units, but they are not the only gold crown properties. Check the RCI website, I believe Woodstone is also Gold Crown. If you are going to ski, you probably would be better off in the bowl area v near Woodstone. I believe the resort website has maps: Massanutten Resort: A Four Season Resort Located in the Beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia I would probably stay away from Eagle Trace at Killy Court (we owned there). They are SUPERBLY located for skiing and snow tubing, but are not as nice or as roomy as the Eagle Trace units, Woodstone or the Summit properties. I'll bet if you call the resort they can tell you which properties are newer. They will be the nicest.
