  • What can you tell me about Ocean City Coconut Malorie Resort?

First, a huge thanks to all of you who have added so much to our trip already-- can't wait to check out the restaurants, places to see and things to do that you have shared. Now, does anyone have any information on this resort or have stayed there?

Frank did answer and I truly appreciate all the information he shared which was mainly things to do and places to eat--very valuable info, indeed. I've printed it out and tucked the info into our folder to take with us. What I'm looking for this time, is a little more information on the resort itself, such as, what are the units like, is there any particular floor or view I should request. What is the property itself like, where is it located in view of the boardwalk, restaurants, is it a safe area, are there any rooms to stay away from such as those located above noisy bands that play until 1AM--we ran into that in a timeshare in Lake Havasu, Arizona. Thanks to each and everyone of you for sharing your thoughts--boards like these are so much help!

Here is a link to thier website. There is a picture gallery in the bottom right hand corner. Hotel

The resort is located on the bayside of Ocean City. No views of the ocean or Boardwalk area. Its located up at 59th street the Boardwalk ends around 32-35th street, I can never remember. I would consider the location a "safe" area. Request higher floors if possible to avoid any noise issues and the best view of the bay. Last time I was there, I thought the resort was nice for Ocean City standards. You will have to drive to get around to most places you will want to do and see. October is actually a great time of year to visit. Swimming is terrible and you are not going to layout on the beach much, but alot of stores and restuarants are still open. It makes for a nice relaxing vacation at the beach.

Fagers Island is next door (60th street) that will be your biggest source of noise. Fagers Island

Thanks, everone! We truly appreciate all the information, especially about Fager's Island noise. :O) I called the resort and asked for a high floor--we'll see what happens when we get there. Since October is probably not a high season for travel to OC, we may have a better chance of getting a quiet area. With two timeshare exchanges within a year that were located right over loud bands that played until 1AM we're a little gun shy!
