  • Williamsburg: Wyndham Kingsgate?

    Hi,

Can anyone tell me about the one bedrooms with the mini-kitchen. I just booked on a last minute deal and would love to hear about these suites. Ie. size, kitchen and surrounding area.

    Thank you so much,

    Lisa

We own a 3BR lock off there and have stayed in the 1BR side twice in the last three years. The units are nice, with many/most having been renovated in the last year. The living room/dining room/kitchenette is adequate in size. Sleeper sofa in the living room. The bedroom has a queen size bed (they used to have a king but they really made the room very tight). The bathroom is the standard shower over tub with a nice counter/sink area.

If you get one of the recently remodeled rooms, you'll enjoy the nice flatscreen tv in the living room, complete with DVD players. There is also a tv in the bedroom.

The resort is in what I consider to be the most central area of Williamsburg with the CW (Colonial Williamsburg) Visitors' Center about 10 minutes away. there are plenty of family type dining places along Richmond Road, which is less than five minutes from the resort.

The resort does charge a "resort fee" for access to the game room and business services center (computers, etc). I think it is $5/day.

Anything in particular that you need to know?
