We also stayed in the town Patsy Cline was born in at a timeshare not far from there. Had corn mazes, drive through animal preserve. Think it was scranton

Patsy Cline was born in Winchester, Virginia. I don't know where the nearby timeshare was, but Scranton is in Pennsylvania.

From Washington/Baltimore

Take 495 Beltway to Exit 49 (I-66W).
Follow about 1 hour to I-81 South.
Follow I-81S for about 1 hour to Harrisonburg and take exit 247A.
Follow Route 33 for approx. 12 miles to Route 644 (Resort Drive).
Take left at stoplight and Exxon Station.
Follow Rt. 644 (Resort Drive) for about 2 miles to the
Woodstone Meadows Building on the right.

After Check In - Cross the road - show your pass to Security Guard
Drive up - Peak Drive until you see Eagle Trace at Killy Court on left.

The Stonewall Jackson Hotel, 24 S. Market Street Staunton, VA
is an historic 1924 hotel that completed a major restoration in 2005.
Enjoy a meal at Sorrels Restaurant, named after Jackson’s trusty horse.
The hotel is a member of the National Trust for Historic
Preservation Historic Hotels of America.

The Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library is located at the birthplace
of Woodrow Wilson, at 18–24 North Coalter Street in Staunton, Virginia.

There is a new Martin`s Food Store with wi-fi acess on Richmond Ave
in Staunton (just off I-81) We stopped in Martin`s when it first opened.
