I read there was a fairly new casino in the Pokeynose and was wondering if anyone has been there? Is it a real casino or an indian casino with virtual blackjack instead of real dealers? I asked because that's the way it is in Cherokee.

I live only about 45 minutes from Mt Airy and decided to go up there last summer for a visit. I wasn't too impressed. The casino floor is relatively small and there are limited choices in gambling opportunities. Restaurant options are also limited. If you get tired of the gambling or want to eat somewhere else, you have to drive off the property for a few miles. On the plus side, the Crossings Premium Outlets are located about 5 to 10 minutes away. Although these are not "real" outlets - no bargain prices here - you can sometimes find decent deals, especially when seasons change. I think the only people who find the prices to be decent are those from NY and NJ, who would normally pay alot more for the choices at the outlet center.
