Renting at Massanutten

We want to go to Massanutten for our spring break and there are a few units available on Last Call at RCI. I have never been there before so am unfamiliar with the unit sizes. We will have 6 people with us. Can someone please tell me which are the roomiest units? It seems as though the Mountainside Units would be better because it says they sleep 8 -- but, of course, there are currently no units on Last Call. There is a 2 bedroom that sleeps 10 but I don't like the sound of the reviews. I think it was Shanandoah in some type of a hotel type unit.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

And, finally, if none of the Last Call units would work for us, does anyone know how I can go about finding a rental at mountainside at a reasonable price?

Since the 2 bed for 10 is 03/22/2009 I will assume that is your Spring Break. I am not a big fan of Shenandoah Villas #1645. I would certainly opt for 03/21 at the Summit #3640. Make sure to get a unit with a full Kitchenand If you do not mind calling to RCI to make the reservation you may be lucky enough to get 2-2 bedrooms an upper and lower to make a 4 Bed lockoff.

Problem with #1645 is Stairs and stairs and more stairs. Some units have about 50 stairs to the unit and about 30+ Inside, plus no hot tub. The good about them is 3 Balconies.

Thank you. I'm trying to do this last minute getaway on the cheap, so I really don't want to rent two units to get a 4 bdrm. Is that what you mean? I don't mind calling RCI -- but I'm not sure what you mean. But, thanks for the feedback on Shenandoah. And, yes -- you are correct about our spring break beginning the 21st.

That is what I meant 2-2 Bedrooms. On a budget I would still chose The Summit over the Villas. Queen in the Master 2-singles in the 2nd bed and a pullout in the living room with a nice fireplace. Off all 6 resorts the Mountainside units are may favorite for size and layout. I have not stayed at Killy Court so cannot offer feedback for those units. so with what is available I would choose The Summit.
