  • Great Eating in DC

Seems every weekend I find myself at a new restaurant in DC or in the suburbs of Maryland and Virginia. I find that the Dupont and K Street areas have some of the best dining and give a nice break from the hustle and bustle of Georgetown (although there are some great places here as well if you don't mind the weekend crowds). Bethesda, MD offers a good downtown feel and is located right on the Red Line of the DC metro system. The Washington, DC group on the Marriott Rewards Insiders community offers some great suggestions as well. I recommend browsing some of the discussion, and if you have something else you're looking for, shoot me a message and I can give you a recommendation.

.... and if you need a Bethesda, MD area timeshare type place to stay, I have recommendations on that in addition to MD/DC suburbs restaurants on/near the RED Line.
... not enough time for all the timeshares ®

Awesome, two great local resources. I lived in Rosslyn for a period of time, but grew up on the Maryland side of the river so I'm a bit partial. I'd also like to give you folks a heads up that you'll be prompted to register for the Insiders community if you don't already have a Marriott Rewards login, but it's free and gives you open access.

Any restaurants you have on your radar, Spence? I've been meaning to try Redwood in the new part of Bethesda Row since it opened a few months back
