  • Par 3 golf in Poconos?

We are going to be staying at Ridge Top in Shawnee-on-Delaware end of September this year.
Does anyone know if there are any Par 3 or "Executive" golf courses near there. We want to play but my wife only plays Par 3 courses right now.
thanks for any info you have.
Also, what else should we look to do in that area??

There might be at Mountain Manor which is very close to Shawnee. As to things to do, what age group?

Shawnee usually has something going on every weekend.

You could take a day trip to Milford, right up 209. Good walking town with lots of shops and places to eat.

Crossings Outlet in Tannersville, right off of RT 80. After you get done there, you could go 4 miles up RT 611 to Mount Airy Casino.

Downtown Bethlehem is another nice walking place about 45 mins from Shawnee. There is also a brand new Sands casino in the old Bethlehem Steel Works.

There are minor league baseball teams in Scranton & Allentown. Not sure when their season ends.

The leaves may be changing in the northern areas by late Sept. e.g. Lake Wallenpaupack.

                New Hybrid Golf Ball

Here's what you should do. Get yourself some new Hybrid golf balls. Changes the shorter course into a challenging championship course. Easier to hit, the ball floats and will make your par-3 experience a lot more fun!
