Ain't that the truth. It's more like a college psychology class . . . which he teaches at MSU.

We will be checking in at Holiday Hills, Friday, June 4th. Jim is bringing his golf clubs since he gets a big discount being it is our fixed week. We haven't seen the Acrobats of China yet so might do that and maybe one or two more. I don't want to over do it. I get tired easy with my back.

My golf clubs are always in the car, but only get taken out on Wednesday any more. I see many of the Holiday Hills regulars pretty often, & we trade each other league dates each year.

I haven't played at Holiday Hills for a long time.

You guys are scaring me with this traffic and heat talk.

Please tell me that end of May weather is not hot.

Hopefully there isn't too much traffic yet. Is there?

I'm going next month. It's my first trip.

Is there anywhere to buy discount show tickets?

I'm staying at Silverleaf Holiday Hills and Wyndham Mountain Vista.

Any good restaurants in the area you guys recommend? Preferably not a national chain. I want to eat good barbeque and Southern food, something I just can't get in Miami anymore.

I'm hoping traffic will still be light too. Here is a map of Branson:

            http://www.bransontourismcenter.com/...Map_screen.gif

If you follow the colored routes it will take you around the strip without getting into too much traffic if it is heavy.

We will be at Holiday Hills too checking in June 4.

Watch out for some of the deep discount sellers. Part of the deal is that you need to tour. I know some people like to tour TS, but I am not one of them. I do everything I can to avoid TS tours.

I would suggest Branson MO Official Website - Branson Missouri Hotels, Accommodations, Lodging, Shows, Attractions and More!
It is more of a general listing of shows with contact information.
Also, in the same line Branson.com : The Official Website

This 2 for 1 site, you do not need to do a T/S presentation. We have bought from them before.

Thanks, I'm not planning any tours this trip. I usually don't tour anyway except in Marriotts to get the rewards points.

Here's a good site for Branson 2-for-1 offers:

                      Branson Rewards:

A lot of them are going for sale on May 21. I would advise to order quickly.

                        Branson Eats

I would strongly recommend the two restaurants at the Big Cedar Lodge. They are the Devil's Pool and Worman. Big Cedar is about 10 miles south of Branson, but the food is some of the best in the area.

The Buzzard Bar downstairs from Devil's Pool is a nice place, too. Great burgers and fries, etc.

Sounds like we need a get-together, or boat ride, or a visit to the Margaritaville Dock.

Where is the Margaritaville Dock? I love Margaritas.

I'd tell you, but it may be used against me.

Before your time here, I/we used to entertain guests visiting Branson from timeshare forums, with boat rides, shows, golf, dinner, etc.

We are still very close friends to some who first visited that way. I got a call from one of them yesterday inviting us to join them on a Hawaii trip.

I remember one of the first times there were three different groups pow-wowing in our driveway, all wondering what kind of crazy people we are all . . . well, I am.

Now we are pretty busy and it is hard to find time to do it.
