  • Branson shows for kids

Any recommendations for show in Branson for two grandsons - ages 7 & 9?

We have a week at the Marriott that we were giving to my cousin and Aunt & Uncle, but my Aunt had a stroke and they probably won't be going, so we may go instead for a few days.

Don't forget to stop by and say hey.

Our kids are 6 and 11 and there haven't been any they didn't like. They are a little spoiled (little!?), accustomed to going backstage and meeting all the celebs, here and elsewhere.

At one we took them to last week, which they liked, the kids behind us kept saying BORING, can we go swimming now?

I think they would enjoy the Dixie Stampede and Noah's Ark.

We are going to see Peter Pan when there in Aug. I know that is a story about kids, but having no kids ourselves, I am never sure about age appropriate.

My kids loved the Hamner Barber show. It was part magic and part birds etc... I even chuckled a few times :-)

We saw Cirque Montage when we were there few weeks ago. Got the tickets at 2 for 1 and kids 0-16 get in free. There was a family sitting next to us and had a little boy about 4 or 5. He sat through the complete show and not a peep out of him so I assume he was enjoying it. I know we did.

                Hop,

Where did you get the two for one tickets?

Here is the website: Branson 2 for 1 Tickets

                  index

You have to purchase the tickets in person. I still have the paper with all the prices on it. They are the only 2 for 1 that does not require any tours.

missouribargans.com has the Hanna Barber Show for 2 for 1 also. They don't seem to have as much in tickets like they use to.

I always chuckle when hese Branson threads (the few there are) go this way.

We can go to almost anything free, and don't, unless someone is here to go with/take.

Huh?! I think that says something. But I'm not sure what.

If it is a secret, and I tell, it won't be a secret.

A clue . . . get a Branson area job, especially with certain well known local entertainers.

Got the Branson area job covered... my wife teaches down there. Does teaching elementary kids count as local entertainers???

As the husband of a teacher, that made me chuckle. I hear about the entertainment when the DW comes home from school.
