  • If you are in Branson, or going before November, please let me know how legit this is

OK... I was searching for things to do in Branson, MO and I came accross a website that claimed to have three different gift packages. It is XXXXXXXX REMOVED SPAM AD LINK it seems legit, when I submited the form it had me call an 800 number where I got a voicemail box that says "Creative Marketing" i left a mesage and they called me back and asked me if I met certain qualifications I can attend a 90 minute sales presentation and get one of the gift packages. They didn't ask me for my credit card information, I filled out a form and it seems legit. Does anyone have an insight on this? I think I have heard of this before, but is it worth the 400$ or so in gifts? It seems too good to be true. Please let me know. Thank you!

Sounds like a timeshare presentation to me.

When I was in direct sales, before each presentation we passed out a little piece of propaganda entitled Too Good to Be True, to prepare the prospect for the fact that what we were going to tell them was Too Good to Be True.

This is most likely timeshare, but could be lots, condos, etc.

..I guess it depends on how many times they sell your information--it could be timeshare, lots, condos or ALL of the above..

Oh gosh, one of my coworkers was just telling me that she signed up for a 90 minute presentation...she didn't even know what for, but they promised her a laptop so she agreed. Wonder what she'll end up with...

From all appearances and reports here, one would think continuing to conduct tours in this economic climate and age of informed consumer would be fruitless.

But I know they are, because I know they are. Seems like it would be a very tough sell/job/life.
