Are there any timeshares in Chicago?

I'm not aware of any timeshares operating in Chicago..

American Resorts International Holiday Network (ARIHN) routinely sells its vacation club there with seminars and maintains an address there but they don't have any US resorts at all.. (I Never Recommend That Program... Ever!)

Resorts that target the Chicago demographic are Silverleaf Fox River located in Sheridan, IL and Orange Lake at Lake Geneva in Wisconsin.... There may be others as well, but those two jump to my mind.

I have seen some Hyatt inventory offered on occasion, but that is about it.

There's Worldmark (Wyndham) in Galena, IL. Never been there but I have been to Silverleaf's Fox River. Not fancy, a lot of activities, indoor pool, about a 2 hour drive to Chicago depending on traffic. What we found works is a day in the city followed by a day relaxing at the resort, and alternating that.

There are a few in the Wisconsin Dells, Glacier Canyon and Tamarack are the ones that come to mind but that's all I can think of. I believe they're both Wyndham properties but not 100% sure on Tamarack.

Many people wisely recommend buying something that you can drive to and use on a regular basis, however that's not always possible depending on where you live. We live in the northern burbs of Chicago, and outside of the TS already mentioned unfortunately there aren't many options to choose from.
